Dear UCU Members,
As discussed in our General Membership Meeting, it is an election year for UCU. While these were initially postponed due to the coronavirus, they will now be held online.
The deadline to nominate yourself or someone else for office is June 15, 2020, and the deadline to submit online ballots will be June 30, 2020. All members currently serving on the board will be on the ballot. The Staff Representative to the Board of Trustees and the Area 500 Rep positions are currently unfilled, but all positions are open for nominations.
Please see this PDF for instructions for nominations as well as descriptions of all positions. Each position will serve a two-year term beginning on September 1st, 2020.
Please note that Agency Fee payers cannot hold office or vote in UCU elections. If you are an Agency Fee payer and would like to change your status to become a full member, with no increase to your dues, please email memberucu@gmail.com.
