<li>Define certain specific election procedures</li>
<li>Limits on the President (when executing local union policies)</li>
<li>Limits on the President (when representing local to external groups)</li>
<li>Vice President coordinates Area Reps.</li>
<li>Treasurer must deliver financial report at each general meeting</li>
<li>Candidates cannot serve on elections committee</li>
<li>Area Rep. elections must follow same rules as Exec. Board elections</li>
<li>Only members of involved area can vote to recall Area Rep.</li>
<li>If officer is recalled by 2/3 majority vote, special election will be held</li>
<li>Define procedure to authorize a strike</li>
<li>Exec. Board officers can be reimbursed for missed work due to Union</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Union @ Cooper Union will hold an election on Tuesday Dec 15th, 2009. Absentee ballots have been mailed to all eligible members. Members can vote using the absentee ballot, or in person (not both).</p>
<p><strong>When: </strong>12-6pm on Tuesday Dec 15th, 2009</p>
<p><strong>Where: </strong>Foundation Building Colonnade (Enter building, take immediate left into hallway along 4th AVE)</p>
<p><strong>What is on the ballot: </strong>Every member should vote on changes to the local constitution and by-Laws, proposed by the Executive board. Additionally, members from Buildings &amp; Grounds (Area #300) have a ballot to elect a new Area Representative for their area.</p>

nominations by the deadline (Area Rep &#8211; Area 300) so most of these nominees win by default.</em></p>
